SCNA @ DESCHUTES BREWERY THIS WEEK!
Hello everyone. It’s the 3rd week of the month so that means I’m sending out a reminder about Southern Crossing Neighborhood Association’s monthly board meeting. But this e-mail also highlights a couple of other events for you, our members, to get ready for summer. So please keep reading.
MONTHLY BOARD MEETING
The Pine Ridge Inn Hotel & Suites is again generously providing a meeting room for our monthly board meeting this Thursday, May 16th from 6 – 8 pm. We will have guests Marney Smith and Brent Joseph from the Les Schwab Amphitheater and the Old Mill District joining us for a brief talk at the beginning of our meeting. Come and find out what’s being planned at the Amphitheater and OMD this summer. The Pine Ridge Inn is located at 1200 SW Mt. Bachelor Dr.
Following right on the heels of our “business” event are a couple special nights at Deschutes Brewery:
SCNA HAPPY HOUR @ DESCHUTES BREWERY’S TASTING ROOM
WHEN: Friday, May 17, from 5 – 6 pm
WHERE: Deschutes Brewery Tasting Room, 901 Simpson Ave.
WHAT: Pop-up session with your Southern Crossing Neighborhood Association held at the Brewery’s Tasting Room.
WHY: Your chance to meet someone from your neighborhood association’s board member and learn about what we do. Find out how you can help your association make your neighborhood better. And check out Deschutes Brewery’s Cask Release. I plan to hopefully make this a regular monthly Pop-up at the Brewery.

PLUS: It will be held in Deschutes Brewery’s Mountain Room. Deschutes Brewery is generously helping to host this event and will be providing a complimentary beverage. We will also have some raffles and other goodies for attendees.
This is a free event but space is limited. Please register if you wish to attend this event. SCNA newsletter subscribers will get first access to this event.
Please join us at one or all of these events. We’d love to meet you and kick off the start of summer together.
