A new neighborhood park is coming to Southern Crossing, and the Bend Park & Recreation District (BPRD) wants your input on design concepts.

Coulter Grove Park will be located on the 3.17 acre property at 20185 Reed Lane. In this round of outreach, BPRD wants to learn what kind of features and amenities folks would like to see in their neighborhood park. You are invited to visit the StoryMap (an interactive map with descriptions) and take the survey to provide your input. People of all ages and each person in a household may take the survey.

There are some key dates to note:

• Sunday, January 18: An open house will be hosted on the park property from 11am – 1pm. Come down to discuss the project and share your thoughts. The open house will be weather dependent. If temperatures are below freezing or there is significant precipitation occurring the meeting will be held virtually and can be accessed at this link.
• Wednesday, January 21: An open house will be hosted at the BPRD District Office (799 SW Columbia St) from 4 – 6pm. Come discuss the project and share your thoughts.
• Friday, January 30: The survey closes at 5pm.

Feedback from this round of outreach will be used to generate conceptual designs for the park. These designs will be shared with the community for additional input later this spring. Additional information can be found on the project website.
