Followup Neighborhood Meeting for 42-Lot Subdivision on Sunny Breeze Lane

There will be a followup neighborhood meeting for the proposed 42-lot single family home subdivision located at the end of Sunny Breeze Lane. This 7.8 acre property is adjacent to the Central Oregon Irrigation District (COID) property and the Canopy Trail.

The virtual meeting will be held via Zoom on Tuesday January 6 at 6:00 pm. Here is the meeting link. You can also participate via telephone by calling (253) 215-8782 and use Meeting ID: 870 0092 3186, Passcode: 329530, however you will need to be on-line to view the visual presentation.

Background Info

As required by the City of Bend, the developer held a neighborhood meeting on December 9 before submitting his applicant for the project. Because the traffic study was not presented at that meeting, Southern Crossing Neighborhood Association requested this second meeting at which the traffic engineer will be present to answer questions.

Following the first meeting, the developer submitted his application to the City. You can review the overall plan as well as plans for tree preservation, grading and drainage, and other details of the project here.

A recording of the first meeting has been made available for viewing or downloading here. The actual meeting begins at about the 8 minute 40 second mark.

What’s Next?

The public can submit comments on the project to the City. Comments should be submitted to Elizabeth LaFleur at elafleur@bendoregon.gov and must include the project number PLLD20250690 in the subject line. The deadline has not been set for comments yet, but we will keep you posted on it as well as the status of this subdivision as it moves through the approval process. In the meantime, let us know if you have any questions about it.
