Bend Public Safety Open House
On Monday, June 10 from 5:30 to 7 pm at Bend Municipal Court (555 NE 15th Street) the City of Bend will hold a public safety open house. You are invited to come and learn about how traffic calming and enforcement are addressed by public safety and transportation planning. Hear from Bend Police Chief Mike Krantz and Right-of-Way Director Janet Hruby on these topics. There will also be interactive displays, information and staff from Bend Police and Transportation & Mobility departments to answer questions.
Following the open house, from 7 to 8:30 pm will be a roundtable discussion with City Councilors, City staff, and neighborhood district board members around Public Safety Council Goals such as technology investments like automated traffic response, and related neighborhood concerns.
