Last year’s sponsors included the Deschutes Brewery, Atlas Cider, Safeway, and Cascade Ice, and resulted in picking up over 450 pounds of trash and plenty of neighborhood networking!
GET INVOLVED!
The Southern Crossing Neighborhood Association is one of 13 in the City of Bend. Neighborhood Associations (NA) are reviving and are becoming more active due to the influx of so many tourists, construction, and in general, people moving to Bend. The parking and trash left behind is having a large impact in our neighborhoods.
The difference NAs make in this world. The associations’ members’ work is voluntary and is focused on improving the livability of the neighborhood. The goal of an NA is to ensure and increase residential participation in the city.
An energetic and vital NA will have the talent and abilities to work on projects beyond its borders, as well as give voice to the issues within its boundaries. With excellent leadership and a committed membership, anything is possible. Together, let’s make Bend one of the most livable and sustainable communities in America.
Now is a great time to get involved!
