Bored without college football?

What will we all do with those extra 1-4 hours spent on our favorite teams until September rolls around again? Why not try giving SCNA an hour a week or a month to help the board improve our community?
The SCNA board will kick off 2013 with a meeting open to anyone Tuesday, January 8. It starts at 7 pm at 295 SW Summer Lake Drive (One block east from the parkway and Reed Market overpass, one block south on Silver Lake, house on the SE corner).
We will start the meeting trying to divide up roles such as coordinating with BMPRD on how to make parks better or more accessible, coordinating with the city on how to make streets safer for cars and pedestrians alike, and working with the other NAs to have impact on the direction of Bend.
We’d love to meet you and hear your ideas or interests, so please join us if you can.
If not this week, look for us to meet the first Tuesday of every month for the rest of the year.
