Bend Shelter Code Amendments Public Hearing
The Bend City Council will hold a single public hearing on amendments to the Bend Comprehensive Plan and Bend Development Code for three permanent shelter types (Group, Multi-Room, and Outdoor) and two temporary shelter types (Temporary and Hardship Housing). This will be a hybrid hearing, taking place on Wednesday May 4 at 7pm. You can attend via Zoom or in person at city offices located at 555 NE 15th Street.
Instructions on how to attend the meeting on Zoom can be found by going to the City Council Meetings web page, scroll down to Upcoming Events, then click the Agenda link next to the May 4 meeting. (The agenda is usually posted several days prior.) The process is described at the top of the agenda. Note that you must preregister if you wish to speak. Emails and letters may be sent until May 16, email addresses are listed on the web page linked above. The council intends to vote on these amendments at their May 18 meeting.
