Bend Park and Recreation (BPRD) is seeking public input on three projects within the Deschutes River Access & Habitat Restoration Plan. These projects are located at McKay Park, Miller’s Landing, and Columbia Park, and include four river access points. BPRD has developed initial concept drawings for each of these locations.

Community input about these concepts will be collected by reviewing an online story map with survey, and through direct communications (emails, phone calls, and comment forms) submitted by community members through the project’s website. There will also be in-person outreach events this winter and spring. The first is being held at the BPRD Community Room (799 SW Columbia St, Bend, OR 97702) on Wednesday, February 1^st from 10:00 am-Noon and 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm with Spanish interpretation services provided. All public input will assist the project team in the development of a preferred concept design for each location this summer.
