On April 1 the City of Bend approved the application for the 42-lot single home subdivision located at 61521 Sunny Breeze Way. However, on April 8 the developer appealed the decision to a Hearings Officer because of conditions for approval required by the City. The public hearing for the appeal took place on Wednesday May 6, during which time the Hearings Officer approved leaving the record open for additional evidence and rebuttal. She is expected to issue her decision in late June. This means the public can submit additional comments until 4 pm on May 20.
