The meeting Thursday night was fantastic! We had 40 people. The energy, the dialogue, and the engagement exceeded my expectations! All the speakers were dynamic. Barb Campbell was a fireball! Eric King gave a great talk. Sgt. Dan Richie with the Bend Police was humorous. Anne Aurand, Communications Director, Joshua Romero, Community Relations Manager, and Ian Leitheiser, Legal Counsel, all did a great job. We filled many positions including combining some positions, and added one member-at-large. We also had some great sponsors who provided good food and beverages. After the meeting, people stayed to talk and offered to help. Councilor Campbell stayed for the entirety.
